Karl Deakin’s MiYO hands-on Course – Increase efficiency, improve quality and consistency, reduce costs and get stunning results with the fantastic MiYO by Jensen

Aims and Objectives:

Karl Deakin will be demonstrating the MiYO & MiYO Pink Liquid Ceramic systems. He will show you how to achieve highly characterised aesthetic results in a very thin layer. You will be provided with two full contour zirconia samples on which you will place both MiYO liquid translucent colour and MiYO liquid ceramic structure materials. Each zirconia sample will have a different colour scheme (young and old) giving you the chance to try even more of the MiYO assortment. You will be shown the key components of each kit and have the opportunity to try different application techniques. You will consider firing temperatures of both structure and translucent materials and have the opportunity to modify the Chroma and value of your zirconia samples.

What to bring:

Your stain brushes, jacket tweezers, burs for ceramics. Ceramic spatula

Who is Karl Deakin:

Karl is a trained Jensen demonstrator and an enthusiastic MiYO supporter.
He has been involved in dental technology for over 27 years starting out in his father’s laboratory. He has worked commercially as well as at two Dental Hospitals and has taught Crown & Bridge at three educational institutions. He continues to be passionate and interested and is always searching for innovative and quality products.

With MiYO he knew he had found a fantastic and revolutionary product unlike any other. His desire for creativity and high aesthetics was fulfilled with MiYO. His training at Jensen’s teaching Laboratory now enables him to share his knowledge with course participants who will benefit from many hints and tips not found in working manuals and to produce work of exceptional standard that will please both the Dentist and Patient.
